In the fiscal year 2017, Lupin’s profit has declined by 49.2 percent to Rs 380 crore while in the same quarter a year ago it was Rs 748 crores. Lupin’s consolidated revenue for Q4 FY17 came to at Rs 4253.3 cr, increased 1.3 percent while last year it was Rs. 4197.4 crores.
EBITDA for the quarter Jan-Mar has been reduced from Rs 1315 crore to Rs 781 crore YoY. In the same quarter, its EBITDA margin decreased from 31.3 per cent to 18.4 percent YoY.
Following the tax expenditure of Lupine has declined Rs 418.7 crore to Rs 136.7 crore. Lupin’s sales for the quarter Q4 YoY rose from Rs 772.2 crore to Rs 879 crore for Indian Market and for Asia Pacific; it rose from Rs 453.2 crore to Rs 612 crore. And in other countries like Europe, Gulf countries and Africa it increased from Rs 245.2 crore to Rs 301.2 crore.
